Virtual Plant-based Meal Prep Demo

Want to get a week or more of plant-based elimination-diet compliant meals prepped quickly? Dr. Julia will lead a virtual Real Food Matrix meal prepping workshop.
To get the most out of this workshop, use Dr. Julia’s Real Food Matrix handout (or a matrix adapted to your own personal food plan) to shop for your preferred plant-based proteins (legumes and meat substitutes), vegetables, and compliant sauces/sauce ingredients prior to the workshop. Plan on making 5-10 entrees (each will serve 4-6 people) during the event.
For each meal, you will need 1 lb of dried legumes, already soaked and cooked, or 4 (15-oz) cans of beans, or 4-6 servings of your preferred meat substitute); 20-32 oz of fresh or frozen pre-chopped veggies; and your favorite cooking sauces OR favorite FATS, ACIDS, herbs and sea salt in your pantry (see the Matrix Handout for ideas). In addition to your groceries, you will need to have 5-10 clean, empty containers or ziploc bags (gallon-size) to place your ingredients in, and a clean working area like a counter or table.
